Itinerary
Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m). 3 and half hrs trek. after arrived we visit Phakding Monastery a more than 250 years old Gompa. a Late Lama Dorje Shangmo and his brother of the Khumbu valley.
Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 hrs.
Day 03: Rest and Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. Visit Sagarmatha National park head quarter office museum, Tibetan transhimalayan traditional market. Sherpa museum etc.
Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m) discover wildlife this day around the trail.
Day 05: Trek from Dole to Machchhermo (4470m)
Day 06: Trek from Machchhermo to Gokyo (4790m)
Day 07: Rest and excursion day around Gokyo Valley. Wake up early in the morning hike up to Gokyo Ri peak 5484m. for morning sunrise panoramic view of above 8000 m. high mountains Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Lhotse Shar, Dolma La-Khang La, Ghyacheung Ghang, Ama Dublam, Cho Lhotse and many more peaks close view can be seen from here. and back to the hotel take your breakfast and trek to 5th lake valley close to Mt Cho Oyu and mt. Ghyachung Ghang glacier. Carry your pack lunch with you to discover full day walk explore in this beautiful glacier valley. In the evening back to hotel in Gokyo overnight stay.
Day 08: Trek back to Dole (4200m) from Gokyo.
Day 09 :Trek to Khumjung (3780m) a large Sherpa’s land Khumjung and Khunde is the encient valley, infornt of holy peak called Khumbiyu La., on the foot steep of this beautiful peak we can see the Scalp of Yeti which was 400 yers old image inside the Khumjung Monastery.
Day 10: Trek from Khumjung to Phakding (2610m)
Day 11 :Trek back from Phakding to Lukla (2840m):
Day 12: Flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu.
