Gokyo valley, cross Cho-La pass 5380m., visit Everest Base Camp Kalapatthar Peak 5545m. and climb Island Peak 6180m:

The Everest region is located in the northeast of Nepal, the most visited part of this region is Solukhumbu district, home of the legendary Sherpas and the highest peak of the world, the Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters. To the north of Solokhumbu is Everest National Park, while to the east is the Makalu Barun National Park. The major ethnic groups that live in the Everest region are Sherpas, Rais, Tamangs, Brahmins and Chhettris. Diverse range of wildlife and vegetation are seen in the region. Animals to be sighted are mountain goat, musk deer and barking deer in the forests. Birds include Impeyan Pheasant (Danfe), ravens, crows, choughs and snow pigeons. The best time to visit is spring and autumn.
Popular trekking areas are-Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley, Lukla, Pike Danda, Dudh Kunda, Salleri, Chiwong Circuit, Hinkhu, Hongu Valleys and Everest to Arun Valley. Interesting landmarks near Syangboche are Khumjung School built by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961 and Khunde Hospital north ofNamche Bazar established in 1968. How to trek in the Everest region depends on the route chosen. Teahouse trekking is possible on the main trail to Everest Base Camp or the route up Gokyo Valley. The trail from Jiri to Lukla also has teahouses on the way.
Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu Lukla (2800 m) - Phakding (2630 m)
Day 02: Phakding - Namche Bazar (3490 m)
Day 03: Namche acclimatize day visit Sherpa Museum/Sagarmatha National Park Office.
Day 04: Namche - Dole (3960 m)
Day 05: Dole - Machhermo (4510 m)
Day 06: Trek from Machchhermo to Gokyo (4970m)
Day 07: Rest and Excursion around Gokyo Valley. hike up to Gokyo ri Peak 5384m. early in the morning and explore 5th lake after breakfast. carry your self pack lunch the day, back to Gokyo overnight stay.
Day 08 :Trek from Gokyo to Thagnag Kharka (4925 m.)
Day 09: Cross Cho-La pass (5330m) and descend to Dzong-la (4830m)
Day 10: Trek from Dzong-la to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 11 :Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140m)
Day 12 :Rest and Excursion around Kalapatthar (5545m), view Everest and return back to Gorak Shep.
Day 13: Trek back from Gorak Shep to Dingboche (4410m) Day 14, Dinngboche – Chukung: 4700m. check and prepare your climbing gears in chukung.
Day 15: Chukung to Imja-Tse Island Peak base camp 5700m.
Day 16:Imja-The Island Peak climbin day. 6181m. we start early in the morning night time after took the earlier breakfast at 2:00 A.M. and we summit nearby 7:00 am in the morning. after we descend back to Chukung again overnight to stay.
Day 17: Chukung - Khumjung 3850m.
Day 18: Khumjung - Monjo/Benkar 2900m.
Day 19: Monjo/Benkar - Lukla 2800m.
Day 20: Lukla - Kathmandu: take earlier flight and back to Kathmandu.
