Mustang Trek:

ASIAN HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDETIONS: Explored: the lost forbidden kingdom called Upper Mustang. Lying beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif in central Nepal is the hidden Kingdom of Mustang, an intriguing parched region, forming part of the Tibetan plateau Untouched by the outside world, 16th century monasteries remain active, adorned with unrivalled frescoes, thank as and status of gigantic deities, preserving ancient traditions. Mustang is the land of Barley field\\\\\\\'s pastures for grazing herds. These upper reaches of the Kali Gandaki River which has tantalized a generation of trekkers - have recently been opened in 1992. Mustang being a restricted area, there are certain formalities required by the government of Nepal in obtaining a special permit. The journey to Mustang begins with a flight to Jomsom via Pokhara. Two days walking from Jomsom we cross the traditional boundary into the wild lunar landscape of Mustang. Our itinerary allows plenty of time to explore the main town of Lo Manthang, the impressive walled capital. Mustang trek is scheduled during the summer months when the people are most active in the fields, villages and monasteries. The trek ends at Jomsom and from here we fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara.

Permits & Rules:

In order to visit Mustang, all the trekkers needs to be pay U$D 500 for 10 days or U$D 50 per person per day for subsequent days from Kagbeni to Kagbeni. You must travel with a group or at least suppose there will be 2 person as a little private group as your own to doing this trek is mentioned to make the permits formalitiy. The trek starting point in Jomsom town we needs to check in and out our special and normal permits plus the Nepoal police is required to show your full Nepal entry visa in check post. The second day we again needs to show our special permits for shot lecture on the rules of trekking in Kagbeni for the upper Mustang Area.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to the Hotel, check all equipment:

Day 02: Full day KTM city tour, hotel

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara with Deluxe tourist coach from Kathmandu 6 hrs. 840m.

Day 04: Take 23 Minute flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni: 2830m.

Day 05: Kagbeni to Chuksang Camp: 3000m.

Day 06: Chuksang to Samar camp: 3610m.

Day 07: Samar to Buddha Cave camp: 3850m.

Day 08: Bouddha Cave to Geling camp: 3570m.

Day 09: Geling to Dakmar camp: 3520m.

Day 10: Dakmar to Lo Gekar camp: 3830m.

Day 11: Lo Gekar to Lo Manthang, camp: 3840m.

Day 12: Rest day at Lo Manthang, visit Raja’s Palace, explore Monastries. And caves. above 4000m-4300m.

Day 13: Lo-Manthang to Garphu camp: 3897m.

Day 14: Gharphu to T-srang camp: 3560m.

Day 15: T-srang to Tangge camp: 3240m.

Day 16: Tetang to Tetang camp: 3040m.

Day 17: Tetang to Muktinath 3700m. - Jomsom camp 2720m: settle our camp or stay in Hotel in last day celebration.

Day 18: Take flight from Jomsom to Pokhara early in the morning. Explore with full day of city sightseeing in Pokhara. Phewa lake boating, visit world peace Pagoda for special sourrinding with the city and high Mountain panorama form the view poing hill of Pagoda, explore Devid’s water fall and encient Shiva’s caves in Pokhara city .

Day 19: Drive back to Kathmandu with Deluxe tourist’s coach. And prepare for final departure shopping day in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur City tour.
