One of the important highlight of this trip is to make a climb on Poon Hill (3210m), possibly the most spectacular mountain scapes on Earth. When sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits with the spectacular panoramic view the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Fishtail (6997m),Annapurna (8,091m), Annapurna II, South II, Nilgiri, Tukchey, Dhampus peak, Butterfly mountain & Himchuli and all mountain range of Annapurna region along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe.

This trek follows a historic trade route towards Tibet as far as Ghorepani (poonhill). Descending on a narrow trail through rhododendron forests to Ghandrung (a large and picturesque Gurung village, the home land of British Gurkhas), the route continues back to Pokhara on a ridge that offers frequent views of Machhapuchhare, the \"Fishtail\" mountain. This is also one of the special treks for those bird and nature lovers because much of the walking trail is through forests abounding in bird life.Besides, during journey, the natural beauty reward you in your every footsteps.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and sightseeing around UNESCO World Heritage site Kathmandu Durbas square and visit 2000 years old Buddhist temple called Swyambhu Nath monkey temple Island for the city view.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara through National-Prithivi highway.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Naya Pul and trek to Tikhe Dhungha (1540m)

Day 04: Trek from Tikhe Dhungha to Ghorepani(2750 m)

Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590 m) via Poon Hill (3210m)

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m.)

Day 07: Trek from Ghandruk to Pothana (1900m)

Day 08: Trek from Pothana to Dhampus (1650m)- Phedi (1130m)- Pokhara

Day 09 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
